About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a key member of our National Helpdesk team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients via various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat.
  • Configure and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network systems to resolve technical issues.
  • Administer user accounts and related activities to ensure seamless access to our systems.
  • Conduct onboarding and offboarding procedures for new employees to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Record and document problem-solving processes for helpdesk requests to ensure accurate tracking and resolution.
  • Travel to client locations and/or other Dillon offices to execute responsibilities, develop client relationships, and participate in project delivery.
Requirements
  • Three-year diploma in Computer Systems Technology or related field.
  • Three to five years of relevant work experience in a professional technology setting.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems for logging, tracking, and managing technical support requests.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing workload demands.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a high regard for accuracy and quality.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users clearly and effectively.
  • Practical experience in working with Active Directory, group policies, and two-factor authentication systems.
