Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical nutrition team, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutrition care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition care plans for patients with diverse nutritional needs
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and screenings to identify patient requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of nutrition services
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in clinical nutrition and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics
Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nutrition with completion of an accredited dietetic internship program
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong understanding of clinical nutrition needs across diverse patient populations
  • Experience with Enteral and Parenteral nutrition support required
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills
