About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Systems and Network Administrator to oversee and enhance our client's IT infrastructure. This is a permanent, hybrid position that offers a competitive salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role will encompass a variety of tasks including:
- Administering and monitoring a Windows-based system infrastructure.
- Analyzing the performance of servers and network equipment.
- Supporting the transition from on-premise solutions to cloud-based services.
- Managing server rooms, ensuring optimal conditions for UPS, electricity, air conditioning, and alarms.
- Contributing to the administration of virtualization and storage environments.
- Identifying and resolving recurring or unique issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Creating and updating technical documentation as necessary.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A university degree in computer science or a related field, or a postgraduate diploma with substantial experience.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in systems administration.
- Proficiency with technologies such as Azure, Windows, VMware, and Veeam.
- Experience in managing hybrid infrastructures (both on-premise and cloud).
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, ITIL, IT security, etc.) are considered an asset.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
