About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team at Bronswerk Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and resolving problems related to computer equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and resolve problems related to computer equipment and networks
  • Assist users in resolving software and hardware issues
  • Ensure regular PC maintenance such as firmware updates, patch management and backups via a remote management tool
  • Assist in the installation and configuration of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls and servers
  • Install and configure operating systems, network services and applications on PCs
  • Ensure network security measures are appropriate and up-to-date
  • Provide technical support to users, resolving issues related to network connectivity, hardware and software
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to users
  • Maintain detailed records of user issues and resolutions in the support ticket system
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, network adapters and system modifications
  • Manage the telephone system and cell phones
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IT strategies and projects

Requirements:

  • Diploma of college studies (DEC) in information technology or a related field (bachelor's degree in IT – an asset)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Practical experience in PC management and installation
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with network printers
  • VMware
  • Proactive approach, focused on deadlines
  • Bilingual (French / English)
  • Excellent sense of organization and priorities
