Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to clients.
  • Develop and implement effective interventions to promote clients' independence, mobility, and participation in daily activities.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on strategies for managing chronic conditions and maintaining optimal health.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and industry developments to ensure the highest quality of care.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a community-based setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic medical records and other software applications.
