Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Blue Demon Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across long distances.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Logistics: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and experience as a truck driver.
  • Certifications: Basic security clearance, driver's validity licence check, and driving record check (abstract).
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and overnight stays. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
