We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Estimator to join our team at Powrmatic. As an HVAC Estimator, you will play a critical role in estimating complex projects with precision and rigor, providing exceptional service to our commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret project specifications and mechanical drawings
- Identify the equipment required for the project
- Have an excellent knowledge of the available products and identify the ones we have on inventory for each project
- Use supplier price lists to estimate equipment value
- Prepare bids in accordance with company standards using our IT tools
- Submit estimates to sales representatives and be available to answer their questions
- Bilingualism (French and functional English)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the HVAC field
- Excellent technical understanding of HVAC systems
- Attention to detail
- Very good number handling skills
- Estimation and project management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to learn quickly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- DEC or professional diploma in building mechanics (Asset)
