HVAC Field Service Technician

Engineered Air, a leading manufacturer of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning products, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled HVAC Field Service Technician to join our team in Montreal, Quebec.

As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support on indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support on HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and colleagues.

• Demonstrate a professional attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service, while maintaining the company's interests at all times.

• Work independently, with minimal supervision, to resolve technical issues and complete tasks efficiently.

• Accept assignments on short notice and work within strict deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

• Occasional work outside regular business hours may be required, as well as travel in and out of province.

Requirements:

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Diploma, HVAC or HRAC Technology, or Building Systems Engineering Diploma, or equivalent work experience.

• Tag 1 or G. 1 Certification is considered an asset.

• Knowledge of RBQ (Regis du Batiment du Quebec) and CSA B is an asset.

• One or two years of related design, production, or service experience is advantageous but not necessary.

• Experience in HVAC systems and control systems is desirable.

Skills:

• Valid Driver's License and a clean abstract are required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Fluency in French and English is required.

• Proven ability to problem-solve in challenging situations.

• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, both locally and remotely.

• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
