HVAC Field Service Technician Opportunity

Engineered Air, a leading manufacturer of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation products, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Field Service Technician to join our team in Montreal, Quebec.

We are looking for an individual with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to provide technical support on indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment in the field. The successful candidate will work independently, communicate effectively with internal and external contacts, and demonstrate a professional attitude while keeping the company's interests in mind.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical engineering diploma, HVAC or HRAC technology, or building systems engineering diploma, and one to two years of related design, production, or service experience. Knowledge of RBQ, CSA B149.1-15, and Tag 1 or G.1 Certification is an asset.

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including industry-competitive salary and benefits, as well as opportunities for extended employee training. The successful candidate will commence their position with a training program in Newmarket, Ontario, and will be required to travel in and out of province.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support on indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment in the field.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts.
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude while keeping the company's interests in mind.
  • Work independently and accept assignments on short notice.
  • Occasional work outside regular business hours is required.
  • Travel in and out of province is required.

Skills Required:

  • Valid Driver's License and a clean abstract.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Proven ability to problem solve in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team locally and remotely.
