Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Network Engineer to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based network infrastructure for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based network infrastructure, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, and network security groups.
  • Configure and manage cloud-based network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement and manage cloud-based network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based network infrastructure with other IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud-based network technologies and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud-based network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with a focus on cloud-based network infrastructure.
  • 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Deep technical knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, multicast, WAN, and DMZ infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience managing MPLS, MPBGP, and other advanced networking protocols.
  • Solid understanding of client-server, networking, and Internet technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and security best practices, including public and private cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Openshift, and other containerization platforms.
  • Practitioner-level network automation skills using DevOps and CI/CD pipeline practices.
  • CCNP/CCIE certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.
  • AWS Solution Architect certification.
  • Azure Solution Architect certification.
