About the Role:
This prestigious legal practice is seeking a Student Recruitment Specialist to join their team in a dynamic role focused on enhancing the recruitment process for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the processing of sponsorship and donation invoices from civil law faculties.
  • Support the coordination of all recruitment events held at the firm or in collaboration with law schools, which includes logistics such as catering, venue reservations, participant follow-ups, and material preparation.
  • Register the firm for career days at civil law faculties and oversee the logistical arrangements for participation in these events.
  • Publish job postings and handle a significant volume of applications during the internship recruitment cycle and co-op recruitment.
  • Assist in organizing activities related to the internship recruitment cycle, including interviews, preparation of documentation for interviewers, welcoming candidates, and coordinating recruitment-related meals and events.
  • Contribute to the planning of the reception, training, and integration of summer students and interns, including organizing a calendar of social events for summer students.
  • Support the human resources team in conducting background checks for interns and summer students.
  • Facilitate the organization of the arrival and departure processes for summer students and articling students.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing/Communications team to maintain an active and updated online presence for the Montreal office.
  • Ensure the website information is current and accurate.
  • Manage the recruitment budget effectively.
  • Assist with the follow-up and evaluation processes for interns and students within the Montreal office.
  • Engage in additional projects or tasks as required by the office.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in a relevant discipline.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
  • Ability to handle emergencies and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work overtime during peak periods when necessary.
  • Experience in a large legal firm is considered an asset.
