Position Details
Become a vital member of a dynamic, interdisciplinary perinatal team in a picturesque coastal community. We are looking for a dedicated general practitioner with a strong interest and expertise in comprehensive primary obstetric care. This role offers the potential for a transition into a permanent position.
The Community Health Facility is in the process of establishing a new comprehensive perinatal program, supported by local collaboration and resources. Join us in this essential initiative aimed at enhancing and sustaining perinatal services.
The expectation includes providing primary obstetric care, with the possibility of integrating this with general fee-for-service family practice or hospitalist responsibilities.
The community is well-connected and accessible, providing a serene environment for both work and life.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current medical license from the College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - Provisional
- Eligibility for the Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Experience in Obstetrics
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) certification
