About the RoleWe are looking for a general practitioner with a particular interest and skillset in full scope primary obstetrical care. This urgent locum coverage has the opportunity to transition to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary obstetrical care to patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary perinatal service team
- Develop and implement care plans for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Provisional
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligibility
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
- Obstetric experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) certification
