Position Overview

The Workforce Management Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating the implementation of time and attendance policies across various divisions. This position is vital for ensuring compliance with labor regulations and Magna's operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist divisions in configuring their time and attendance systems, ensuring adherence to labor laws and Magna's best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll departments to address discrepancies related to time and attendance systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff and management on time and attendance protocols.
  • Analyze existing time and attendance policies to identify trends and propose enhancements.
  • Work with the System Implementation team to ensure clarity in resolutions and adjustments.
  • Identify and prioritize urgent matters impacting project timelines for the Program Manager.
  • Support initiatives for first punch and first pay during the Go Live phase.
  • Generate reports on time and attendance metrics for management review.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in time and attendance management.
Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in time and attendance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience with time and attendance software and systems.
  • Proven experience in leading teams through transitions and efficiency improvements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for reporting and data analysis.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with a history of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
