Your RoleAs a Claims Adjuster, you will report to the National Claims Manager and be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling commercial and personal property claims.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze claims information through thorough investigation
- Evaluate coverages, exclusions, and liability of various property policies
- Examine subscription claims and communicate regularly with subscribers and Lead Adjuster
- Maintain accurate records and reserves throughout claim handling
- Provide timely reports and file presentations to Claims Supervisor/Manager
- Negotiate settlement or denial
- Assist with quarterly claims audits and establish strong relationships with claims vendors and clients
- Provide exceptional service and work closely with the Underwriting Department on risk assessment
