Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coding Tutor (Sensei) to join our team of dynamic and forward-thinking professionals. As a Sensei, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coaching and student engagement at our center. If you have a passion for teaching and mentoring children, and enjoy building problem-solving skills in young minds, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum
  • Create a positive and safe learning environment that encourages student growth and development
  • Work with children to assess their skill levels and provide personalized feedback
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and maintaining the center
  • Report weekly to the Center Assistant Manager on student progress and center activities
  • Collaborate with other Senseis and center staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children aged 7 and up in a teaching or mentoring capacity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
  • Knowledge of coding and technology concepts, or ability to quickly learn and apply basic concepts
  • Fun and engaging personality, with a passion for teaching and mentoring children
