Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Softgoods Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including features, benefits, and pricing of our products.
- Ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers, including maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and replenishing merchandise as needed.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, including setting up and maintaining displays, and ensuring that all merchandise is properly priced and stocked.
- Work collaboratively with other sales floor team members to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail sales experience an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and stand for long periods of time.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
