Shared Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Health Services to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams providing direct care to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of safe, effective, and efficient health services, inspiring and leading health services staff to adopt integrated, patient-centered care pathways and service delivery models.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement clinical quality frameworks and patient care lenses to drive clinical and service excellence
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safe, effective, and appropriate client care
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to inform service delivery and quality improvement initiatives
- Partner with leadership and internal/external stakeholders to support patients in accessing multiculturally respectful health services
- 3-5 years of recent progressive management experience leading health services in a large, publicly funded health services delivery organization
- 5 years of direct clinical services delivery experience across one or more assigned clinical areas of healthcare
- 2 years of management experience leading a clinical team within a unionized environment
- 2 years of experience implementing program planning, development, and evaluation
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in a relevant health discipline from an accredited education institution
- Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate
- Demonstrated mid-senior leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of relevant professional regulatory requirements, legislated acts, and collective agreements
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds
- Ability to work safely in a typical computerized office environment
- Ability to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg (25 lbs)
- Valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle may be required for travel within the province
