About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our Analytical Development team at AbCellera Biologics. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of platform analytical methods for use across the analytical functions in Process Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, qualification, and transfer of analytical methods across a range of technologies (LC, CE, UV-Vis, etc)
  • Develop new analytical methods in support of release testing and product characterization
  • Perform routine analyses of samples in support of monoclonal antibody process development
  • Generate high-quality data in support of method development, qualification, and product characterization
  • Aggregate and present analytical data to stakeholders across CMC and Discovery teams
  • Research and evaluate technological advances in the field of analytical chemistry
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field with 2-5 years of experience or Master's degree and 2 years of experience
  • Experience working in areas of therapeutic protein characterization in academia or industry
  • Proven technical ability to execute and troubleshoot experiments through rational and critical thinking
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask to meet critical timelines
  • Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks (e.g., Benchling), experimental data capture, and 21 CFR part 11 compliance requirements
  • Outstanding communication, team player, and relationship builder with a demonstrated ability to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team
What We Offer

AbCellera Biologics offers a competitive salary range of CAD $60,500 - $75,600 annually, commensurate with education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.
