AbCellera is a global leader in antibody-based medicines, and we're seeking a highly motivated Senior Analytical Scientist to join our Analytical Development team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of platform analytical methods for use across the analytical functions in Process Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and qualify analytical methods for release testing and product characterization
  • Support the development of high-throughput methods for process development activities
  • Perform routine analyses of samples in support of monoclonal antibody process development
  • Generate high-quality data for method development, qualification, and product characterization
  • Present analytical data to stakeholders across CMC and Discovery teams
Requirements:
  • B.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline with 2-5 years of experience or an M.Sc. and 2 years of experience
  • Experience working in areas of therapeutic protein characterization in academia or industry
  • Proven technical ability to execute and troubleshoot experiments through rational and critical thinking
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in order to meet critical timelines
  • Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks (e.g., Benchling) and 21 CFR part 11 compliance requirements
What We Offer:

AbCellera offers a competitive salary range of CAD $60,500 - $75,600 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.
