Job Title: Project Management and Planning Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management and Planning Specialist to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing project management and planning services to support the delivery of healthcare infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead innovative projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with departmental service delivery objectives.
  • Consult and engage with leadership to provide project management and planning services, including scope development, feasibility studies, estimating and budgeting, risk analysis, and scheduling.
  • Manage projects from $200,000 to $100 million+, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user requirements into working drawings and specifications.
  • Represent the owner on construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining records of construction and contract activity.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in project management and planning, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as interior design, facilities engineering technology, or architecture.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to travel within Saskatchewan.
