Project Manager - Heavy Industrial

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Peter Lucas Project Management Inc. in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As an owner-representative project manager, you will be responsible for managing projects supporting our client's capital project portfolio in a Potash mining environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Develop and execute Underground Capital Projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk
* Manage projects within the site owner's Project Management Framework
* Develop project scope with appropriate stakeholders
* Secure project materials and resources by utilizing the site owner's procurement process
* Perform field visits to coordinate material and labor resources and ensure work is safely progressing according to plan
* Monitor and forecast project budget and schedule to ensure plans are on track
* Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
* Meet specific project KPI's as required
* Engage with relevant project stakeholders, including project reporting to management
* Perform Continuous Improvement of the Project Management Process

**Requirements**

* 4+ years of owner's representative industrial project management experience
* Postsecondary education in a relevant technical field
* PMP
* Maintenance, project, and/or operational experience at an operating facility or a heavy industrial site is considered an asset
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Efficient use of Microsoft 365 Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
* Direct experience in underground potash is considered an asset
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, organizational skills, and detail oriented
* Are you currently eligible to work in Canada? (For example: permanent resident, valid work permit, etc)
