Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care and support.
- Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
- Follow through on treatment programs with patients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
- Set up and dismantle equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
- Assist chiropractor with patient health education, providing accurate and informative guidance.
- Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Maintain supplies, ordering and stocking as needed to ensure a smooth operation.
- Assist chiropractor with physical examinations, providing support and assistance as required.
- Perform general clerical duties, including processing files and paperwork, and scheduling appointments.
- Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
- Order supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient office environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Urban area work setting.
- Office of a healthcare professional.
