We are seeking a skilled Chiropractic Office Support Specialist to join our team at Derry Village Physiotherapy and Chiropractic Centre. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Work Setting

The successful candidate will work in an urban area, specifically in an office of a health care professional. This is a permanent position with a 30 to 44 hour work week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist health care professionals with patient care and treatment programs.
  • Carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Follow through on treatment programs with patients and position them for treatments by chiropractor or machine.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain it, and assist with patient health education.
  • Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation and maintain supplies.
  • Assist chiropractor with physical examinations and perform general clerical duties.
  • Process files and paperwork, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage routine office functions.
  • Order supplies and equipment and work in a team environment.
