Position Title: Head of Project Management
Department: Families and Wellbeing
Employment Type: Regular, Full Time (37.5 hours)

The Head of Project Management will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will oversee the strategic development, innovation, administration, and community accountability of programs and initiatives within the Families and Wellbeing division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Oversight: Manage and oversee contracts to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Development: Lead the planning and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of service delivery and program effectiveness.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with programs.
  • Team Leadership: Foster team development and professional growth.
  • Community Involvement: Engage with the community to promote program awareness and participation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
  • Master's degree in social work is considered advantageous.
  • Demonstrated skills in proposal development and writing.
  • Familiarity with federal and provincial funding mechanisms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Membership in professional associations is a plus.
