Job Title: StrongStart Facilitator

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Education Facilitator to lead our StrongStart Centres. As a StrongStart Facilitator, you will be responsible for creating engaging and educational activities for children and parents, promoting the Centre within the community, and managing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fun and educational activities for children and parents
  • Build and maintain relationships with parents, children, professionals, and community mentors
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Be flexible with work hours and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Plan, implement, and budget for parent participation early learning programs
  • Deal with challenging behavior issues in a professional and respectful manner
  • Attend all early learning professional development activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents, children, and staff

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Senior Secondary School Graduation)
  • Valid certificate in Early Childhood Education
  • Current Community Care Facilities Branch BC License to Practice
  • Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Valid Food Safe Certification
  • MyEd Level 1 Training

What We Offer:

$30.89/hour as of July 1, 2024
