Responsibilities:

  • Optimize operating efficiencies of customers' equipment using proprietary modeling software programs.
  • Ensure trouble-free runs of Andritz products through proper selection and follow-up inspection services during operation and/or machine down-days.
  • Work with customers to solve machine operating problems through innovative applications and industry best practices.
  • Develop strong inter-reliant relationships with customers through quality on-site service and social interaction.
  • Provide customer feedback to manufacturing plants, applications team, research, and sales management.
  • Communicate field activity, including sales opportunities, inter-company items, and competitive issues to the appropriate Regional Manager.
  • Manage an expense budget within the guidelines provided.
  • Take ownership of a specified territory and devise strategies to meet sales objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Degree in Engineering or Business preferred, and/or extensive (10+ years) maintenance, production, or sales experience within the paper or other related applicable industry.
  • Languages: French/English
  • Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proven mechanical aptitude, and a strong entrepreneurial drive.
  • Requires strong computer skills, including a strong understanding of Word, Excel, and general database management.
  • Extensive travel within the assigned region is required.
