Role Overview

As a key member of the team, the Video Production and Editing Expert will report directly to the Brand and Content Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping and conveying the creative narrative through various video projects. Utilizing your expertise as a camera operator and editor, you will harness your creativity and meticulous attention to detail to enhance our initiatives and craft compelling stories that resonate with our target audience while highlighting our extensive range of products.

Key Responsibilities

Capture and edit captivating promotional videos; Supervise on-site filming to ensure the acquisition of necessary visuals and facilitate the post-production process; Operate professional-grade cameras and mobile devices with exceptional technical and artistic proficiency for select projects; Execute editing tasks within designated timelines; Conduct music research and audio mixing for audiovisual materials; Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production phases; Partner with the team to innovate new formats for audiovisual content; Oversee the internal and external approval processes for all content under your purview; Monitor the creative workflow, ensuring compliance with technical standards for graphic elements and securing necessary approvals; Plan, produce, and coordinate all materials needed for in-store presentations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity; Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects; Familiarity with Davinci Resolve is an asset; Strong understanding of the post-production workflow; Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, is essential; Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team; A creative mindset with strong filming and storytelling video editing capabilities; Experience in both indoor and outdoor filming (preferred); Knowledge of traditional, digital, and social media marketing channels; Background in the retail industry is advantageous; Familiarity with the sports sector, fashion, and athletic practices is a plus.
