About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Laura Canada. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in researching, creating, and producing brand-right graphic design elements to support print and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the elaboration of creative ideas and concepts that align with the brand's vision and objectives.
  • Render graphic elements using traditional tools, multimedia, image processing, and design software.
  • Collaborate with the Digital, Marketing & eCommerce Team to translate marketing intent and ensure timely execution.
  • Ensure all information is detailed and accurate, and that all delivery deadlines are met and respected.
  • Monitor competitors' graphic activities and trends to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Research new materials, concepts, and ideas that reflect the seasonal direction of the photography.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the fashion industry.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (Adobe XD is an asset).
  • A strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Knowledge of current design trends, both in print and digital media.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A basic understanding of image retouching and optimization techniques.
