General Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Store Manager to join our team at Natural Bites Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store operates efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
- Store Operations: Oversee the overall operation of the store, including managing inventory, controlling expenses, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Manage the store's budget, including planning, monitoring, and controlling expenses.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that inventory is accurately tracked.
- Compliance: Ensure that the store operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, and ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
