Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Tidewaters Liquor Store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and manage a team of staff members, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Market Research and Trends: Conduct market research and analyze trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in the store, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.
- Price and Credits Policies: Implement price and credits policies to ensure that our customers receive fair and competitive prices.
- Procurement and Inventory: Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that our inventory is well-stocked and up-to-date.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our store and attract new customers.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that the store is financially stable.
- Staffing and Recruitment: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate the performance of staff members and provide feedback and coaching to improve their performance.
- Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, assisting with their settlement needs and supporting their social and labour market integration.
- Support for Youth: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, offering on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support visible minorities, offering mentorship programs and diversity and cross-cultural training.
