About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team at Pilkington Law Firm. As a Law Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers in their daily tasks and contribute to the success of our firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Document Management
    • Conduct thorough research on various legal topics and cases
    • Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Correspondence and Communication
    • Draft and prepare legal correspondence, reports, and other documents
    • Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to lawyers, including scheduling appointments and managing calendars
    • Assist with tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent research and analytical skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Proficiency in MS Office and other software applications
