Key Responsibilities:- Support the preparation and execution of overall work plans and schedules.
- Review and process vendor submittals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Coordinate material and equipment needs, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with key subcontractors to provide bussing services at client sites, ensuring high-quality service and timely delivery.
- Actively review and manage daily passenger counts, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting value-added solutions.
- Manage all aspects of the bussing services scope of work, ensuring compliance with client expectations and company standards.
- Support procurement activities, reviewing and handling purchase orders, packing slips, and order processing.
- Prepare weekly productivity and cost tracking reports, providing insights for informed decision-making.
- Prepare cost estimates for change orders and audit purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Price site instructions, work orders, and change notices, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Assist with quality assurance and management of client expectations, ensuring high-quality service and timely delivery.
- Assist with maintenance of project files and preparation of reports, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Participate in on-site safety meetings, promoting a culture of operational and psychological safety.
- Provide safety leadership, implementing the Bird Safety Program and monitoring the safety performance of the project team and subcontractors.
- Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality service and timely delivery.
- Build and manage business relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships and growth opportunities.
- Post-secondary education considered an asset.
- 3 or more years of work experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and able to complete assignments with minimal direct supervision.
- Knowledge of standard health, safety, and environmental requirements and practices in the construction industry.
- Driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required.
- Ability to work a 5-day on, 2-day off schedule in the central Saskatchewan area, with travel from Regina/Saskatoon provided via client bussing and camp accommodation when onsite.
- Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meet the time demands of unpredictable activities, and handle pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment.
- Effective and efficient problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a thoughtful, proactive, and creative approach.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals, with the ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
