Job Title: Project Controller

Rising Edge Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Controller to join our team. As a Project Controller, you will be responsible for managing the cost and scheduling functions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, audit, and correct incoming cost and schedule data for assigned projects.
  • Update project cost and schedule data and validate accuracy for reporting through internal software use and regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide consolidated internal and external financial reports in accordance with defined timelines.
  • Monitor project cash flow and generate/review invoices for submission to clients.
  • Review project contracts and ensure compliance for all cost and scheduling data.
  • Perform assigned portfolio coordination tasks, requiring regular maintenance and communication.
  • Collaborate with project teams to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management is preferred but not required.
  • Accreditation in project management, such as from the PCI, PMI, or AACE, is considered an asset.
  • Experience as a project controller in a construction environment, particularly with EPC, is an asset but not required.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project, and construction management software, like Hard Dollar and Viewpoint, is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365, specifically Word, Excel, and SharePoint, is highly desired.
