About the Role
Osler is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Services Supervisor to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our office administration team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office services team, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the office services team, including mailroom, reception, and hospitality services.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the office premises, including furniture and equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Coordinate office moves and ensure a smooth transition for all staff.
- Work closely with the Senior Office Manager to oversee office administration and service team staffing, including budgeting and record-keeping.
- Represent the Ottawa office and engage with national departments to share best practices and support the firm's values.
- Coordinate special projects as required.
Requirements
- Community College diploma and at least 3 years of related facilities experience, including some supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of office and business practices, including budgeting and reconciliation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
