Job Title: Compositor (General Submission)

Company 3 / Method Studios is seeking a skilled Compositor to join our team. As a Compositor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects for our clients.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with the Compositing Supervisor and VFX Producer to achieve the highest creative and technical standards of work.
  • Responsible for challenging shots, seamlessly integrating various layers or elements of a live-action shot, and tackling shots from start to finish.
  • Matte extractions from blue/green screen photography, good attention to detail, sense of color, colorspace, and lighting.
  • Composite Multi-Pass CG Elements to create photo-real shots, clean and efficient script organization, and communicate progress of work to Coordinator and Producer in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a compositor in episodic, commercial, or feature VFX.
  • Must be experienced in tracking and blue/green screens comps.
  • Proficient in Nuke, Photoshop, and knowledge of 3D particle systems, Fusion, and AfterEffects is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, take criticism, and work under high pressure with short deadlines.
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet deadlines, and experience working with Shotgun software preferred.
