Job Title: Night Auditor

Slave Lake Accommodations LTD is seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of hotel transactions and maintaining the security of guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Registration and Room Assignments: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account the specific needs of each group.
  • Reservation Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring that all changes are accurately reflected in the hotel's system.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure optimal hotel operations.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as outlined by the hotel.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform light clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

  • Hotel, motel, or resort setting
  • Remote location

Work Term: Permanent
