Night Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Night Auditor to join our team at Slave Lake Accommodations LTD.
Job Summary:The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of hotel transactions, maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Registration and Check-Out: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
- Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
- Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
- Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures as needed.
- Clerical Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, as well as clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Customer Service: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, assist clients/guests with special needs, and provide customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a hotel or similar environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
