Job Description:

Job Summary:

Tata Communications is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead our data center operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our data centers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of physical and virtual server environments, storage systems, and networking equipment.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze data center capacity and performance.
  • Plan and implement capacity upgrades and optimizations to meet business needs.
  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure data center infrastructure meets compliance standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure readiness.
  • Manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, oversee service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure vendor performance.
  • Develop and manage the data center budget.
  • Monitor expenses and optimize costs without compromising performance and security.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure project deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of data center configurations and processes.
  • Generate regular reports on data center performance, capacity, and other key metrics.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Experience with Linux, Rack Management, OpenStack, VMware, Windows, RHEL Satellite, PAM, SAN Switches, Storage, Backup, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong understanding of security policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with cable management and hygiene.
  • Exposure to switch, firewall, and F5 connectivity.

Compensation:

CAD 94,000 per annum.
