Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer - Metal Fabrication to join our team at TC Steel Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, assisting structural steel and platework fitters, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
  • Read and interpret work orders.
Requirements
  • Deburrer experience.
  • Dolly experience.
  • Hand truck experience.
  • Lifting device experience.
  • Saws experience.
  • Hand tools experience.
  • Band saw experience.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, physically demanding conditions, and a large workload. The ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a team environment is essential.
