About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate Work

Develop and implement effective work schedules to ensure seamless operations and optimal productivity.

Maintenance and Repair Coordination

Arrange for regular maintenance and repair work to be carried out to maintain the resort's facilities and equipment.

Emergency Response

Be the primary point of contact for emergency situations and ensure that all necessary protocols are followed.

Team Leadership

Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of security guards, providing guidance and support as needed.

Training and Development

Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Reporting and Communication

Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management, highlighting any issues or concerns.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.

Certifications and Licenses

CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Security Guard License.

Work Environment

Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Qualities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
