About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Yami Yummy Inc. as a Gas Station Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Hire and Train: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications and standards.
  • Order Merchandise: Place orders for inventory and supplies, ensuring that the gas station is well-stocked and equipped to meet customer demands.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell fuel, food, and other products to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve issues, and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock counts, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail or gas station environment.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Outlook and other relevant software applications.
  • Area of Specialization: Retail store management, gas station operations, and customer service.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player, dependable, and initiative.
