Job Title: Junior Chef

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Chef to join our team at FGF Brands. As a Junior Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality vegetarian meals for our corporate office and executive residences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lunches and dinners for business and entertaining events, including catering for small special events.
  • Assist the Corporate Chefs in preparing food for presentations, lunches, foodie bootcamps, and meetings.
  • Assist in the daily running of the test kitchens, purchasing and stocking supplies as needed.
  • Assist the Corporate Chefs in planning and executing corporate events.
  • Ability to work evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays as required, both in-home and in our corporate kitchens.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Culinary Arts is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience preparing vegetarian cuisines, including South Asian (Gujarati, Punjabi, South Indian), and others.
  • Experience or willingness to learn other cuisines (Mexican, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Italian, etc.).
  • Ideal background in food preparation for a hotel or restaurant.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle.
  • Strong communication skills.
