Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Easton's Group of Hotels. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guest Registration and Services
    • Register guests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of all guest information.
    • Issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location, and prepare for group check-in and out.
    • Become informed of events and functions in the hotel during the shift and communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management.
  • Revenue Generation and Management
    • Upsell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue and increase guest satisfaction.
    • Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions per established procedures, including posting all charges and completing cashier and other reports.
  • Safe Deposit and Guest Services
    • Issue, control, and release guest safe deposit boxes.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Language Skills
    • Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
  • Physical and Mental Demands
    • Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office area.
    • Remain stationary for extended periods or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Handle objects, products, and computer equipment.
    • Use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems.
