Position Title: Research Assistant III

Overview:

This role focuses on providing essential research assistance within the realm of interdisciplinary programs in higher education. The successful candidate will support faculty in their educational, research, and laboratory endeavors, working autonomously while having access to guidance from senior research personnel.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement established research methodologies to collect and organize data pertinent to the research project.
  2. Adjust and refine research techniques and protocols in response to variations in experimental outcomes.
  3. Document, categorize, and summarize research findings in accordance with standard procedures.
  4. Facilitate structured interviews and focus group discussions with participants.
  5. Conduct intermediate-level statistical analyses to interpret research data.
  6. Assist in the preparation of data for reports, academic articles, and other scholarly publications.
  7. Perform comprehensive literature reviews and synthesize relevant findings.
  8. Execute additional related tasks as directed by the lead researcher.

Qualifications:

Education: A relevant post-secondary degree is required.

Experience: Candidates should be enrolled in an interdisciplinary program and possess:

  • Experience in qualitative research, including proficiency with NVivo or similar analytical software.
  • Experience in writing and publishing qualitative research findings.
  • A minimum of six months of relevant experience in a research setting.
