We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites - High Level. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Leadership and Supervision: Establish work schedules and procedures, and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members.
- Guest Services: Assist clients/guests with special needs, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Operations and Maintenance: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs to ensure business continuity.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
Our hotel is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong leadership and communication skills. As a Hotel Operations Supervisor, you will be working in a hotel, motel, resort setting, and will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
