Overview of Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a team of machine learning specialists and software engineers to develop, sustain, and enhance MLOps frameworks that deliver AI solutions to Clio's clientele;
Engage cross-departmentally with engineering, product development, operations, and data analytics to discover new ML-driven functionalities for Clio's users;
Operate within an agile framework alongside our team of machine learning professionals, MLOps engineers, and full-stack developers on a variety of initiatives;
Continuously learn and challenge yourself while refining your expertise in machine learning;
Participate in diverse projects and work collaboratively with multiple engineering teams across various locations;
Review and provide constructive feedback on code, both within your own team and across Clio's broader engineering community.
Work with teams throughout Clio to diagnose, comprehend, and resolve issues, creating solutions that may encompass multiple domains.
Mentor and learn from colleagues, offering constructive criticism and embracing feedback for personal growth.

Required Qualifications:
Experience in deploying models using either native infrastructures (such as AWS, Azure, etc.) or third-party MLOps platforms;
Proficiency in evaluating various MLOps products and conducting rapid proof-of-concept projects as necessary;
A foundational understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their MLOps ecosystem;
Capability to manipulate, cleanse, and preprocess intricate unstructured data for model development;
Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and work effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment that includes distributed teams and clients;
Proven success in mentoring within software development, particularly utilizing an Agile methodology and with large-scale SaaS applications;
A broad knowledge base that enables you to assist your team in solving complex technical challenges;
A portfolio showcasing past projects, including notable achievements and lessons learned.

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to cultivate high-trust relationships with fellow Clio employees and clients.

Please note that there are distinct salary bands for other regions based on local currency.

*Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience required for the role and to allow for growth within Clio. For experienced candidates, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The upper portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. New hires may start below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount will depend on geographical region, relevant experience, and the candidate's skill set.
