Lead DevOps Engineer in MLOps

Position Summary:
As a Senior DevOps/MLOps Engineer on our Artificial Intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our various environments. Your expertise will be vital in automating processes to enhance the delivery of code and machine learning models from development to production. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the MLOps domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation: Design and implement tools and frameworks to optimize our Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes.
- Deployments: Utilize CI/CD automation to effectively deploy services on Kubernetes.
- Operations: Monitor service performance across different environments to ensure seamless operation.
- Service Reliability: Provide support and troubleshoot issues by analyzing system dashboards and logs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps/MLOps role or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of computer science principles, including threading and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with software systems concepts such as networking, firewalls, and databases.
- Knowledge of software delivery methodologies, including Git workflows and configuration management.
- Experience in mentoring junior team members in DevOps/MLOps practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as:
- CI/CD platforms like Jenkins.
- Containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting languages such as Python.
- Databases like CockroachDB and PostgreSQL.
- Event streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Monitoring tools including Splunk and Prometheus.
- Package management systems like Artifactory.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI and machine learning tools such as MLFlow and TensorFlow.
