A typical day may involve:
Collaborating with a team of machine learning specialists and software engineers to establish, sustain, and enhance MLOps frameworks that deliver AI solutions to Clio clients;Engaging cross-departmentally with engineering, product management, operations, and data science to pinpoint new ML-driven functionalities for Clio clients;
Operating in an agile setting alongside our team of machine learning professionals, MLOps engineers, and full-stack developers across diverse projects;
Embracing continuous learning, challenging oneself, and refining your expertise as a machine learning authority;
Participating in various projects and working with multiple engineering teams across different regions;
Reviewing and providing constructive feedback on code, whether from your own team or across the entire Clio organization.
Collaborating with teams throughout Clio to diagnose, comprehend, and resolve issues, as well as to create solutions that may encompass multiple domains.
Mentoring and learning from peers - offering constructive feedback to colleagues and embracing feedback to foster personal growth.
Desired qualifications:
Experience in deploying models through either native infrastructure (such as AWS, Azure, etc.) or third-party MLOps platforms;
Proficiency in evaluating various MLOps products and conducting rapid proofs of concept when necessary;
A solid understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their MLOps ecosystem;
Skills in manipulating, cleaning, and pre-processing intricate unstructured data for model development;
The capability to quickly adapt to new technologies and work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment that includes distributed teams and clients;
Proven success in mentoring within software development, particularly utilizing an Agile methodology and with large-scale SaaS offerings;
A broad knowledge base that enables you to assist your team in tackling complex technical challenges;
A portfolio showcasing past projects, including notable achievements and lessons learned.
Exceptional communication abilities and the aptitude to cultivate high-trust relationships with fellow Clions and clients.

Compensation is a key element of Clio's Total Rewards Program. We have established a series of initiatives and processes to ensure fair and competitive compensation practices that underpin our human-centered and high-performing culture.

Please note that there are distinct salary bands for other regions based on local currency.*Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience required for the position and to allow for growth within Clio. For experienced candidates, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The upper portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those new to the role may start below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will depend on geographical region, applicable experience, and the candidate's skill set.
