Sterilization Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterilization Attendant to join our team at Foothills Dentistry. As a Sterilization Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Maintain Equipment: Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, and maintained to prevent cross-contamination.
- Lay Out Surgical Instruments: Organize and prepare surgical instruments for use, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare and Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Restock and replenish supplies, and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Operate and Maintain Sterilization Equipment: Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and sterilizers, to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations.
- Perform General Clerical Duties: Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping, as needed.
- Prepare and Maintain Cleanliness of Collection Areas: Ensure all collection areas, including storage rooms and supply closets, are clean and organized.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, judgment, organized, reliability, and team player.
